In a tenant representation transaction in July 2021 JAAD Partners negotiated a one-year lease extension for a prominent medical services company.  Due to uncertainty from the Covid-19 pandemic, JAAD was able to obtain this short lease term from a global institutional landlord that had previously indicated that it would not permit a lease term shorter than three years. The one-year term provides JAAD Partners’ client time to analyze its options including moving its headquarters outside of California.
