During the Covid-19 shelter-in-place order, JAAD Partners was able to complete a transaction for GMC Property Company to ensure not only the continuity of rental revenue, but also an increase in income. In April 2020 in one of LA County’s top industrial submarkets , JAAD Partners executed a 12-month lease extension for a 45,000 square foot industrial building. There were no concessions from the landlord. The tenant is an essential business with its parent company headquartered in Europe. Even in this economic environment, JAAD Partners negotiated a 36% increase in base monthly rent.
