In February 2021 JAAD Partners represented Electronic Lane Properties in the renewal of an existing tenant’s lease in its flex industrial building in Huntington Beach, California. As the tenant’s business picked up in early 2021, it felt comfortable making a longer-term commitment to the property. JAAD negotiated a 30-month lease extension on top of a six-month extension that had been granted during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. There were no concessions in the lease extension of this tenant in the packaging industry which occupies 6,000 square feet of office and warehouse, and Electronic Lane Properties was able to increase the rental rate to market.
